Børge Bredenbekk
Børge Bredenbekk (1975) has a Bachelor of Arts from England, followed by many years of experience as an illustrator associated with the agent byHands and the collective Brenneriveien. He now works full time with his art in the form of figurative drawings and graphics.
Børge's works are characterized by his fascination with the iconic and technical of the idea and work process, where he works strategically to create art that appeals to the viewer, and which evokes feelings of ambivalence - the duality between the scary and the beautiful. His latest work consists of a selection of pencil drawings that refer to both the dark, as well as the mythological and almost supernatural through motif, structure and technique. His graphic works are somewhere between traditional and modern in technology and are inspired by social realism from the early last century. He is generally fascinated by manual work, craftsmanship and iconic compositions.
Member of Norske Billedkunstnere and Tegneforbundet.
