Eirik Braathen

Eirik Braathen (b. 1982) is a Norwegian artist known for his colorful universe and expressive figures.

Braathen has an education and background as a graphic designer and illustrator, which is reflected in the composition and expression. With a desire to free himself from limitations and guidelines, he has shifted his focus from commercial work to visual art.

In addition to figures, pastel colors, elements of typography and steady brushwork have become trademarks in the works. Braathen works mainly with acrylic and collage on canvas.
