Thea Elise Klingvall
Thea Klingvall has a BA in retail from Westerdals Oslo. From 2006-2010, she also studied with Jonny Andvik, known as one of the foremost figurative painters in Scandinavia from her generation. She works in figurative drawing, graphic drawing and oil painting.
Thea's work is about finding the freedom to be a woman and the courage to be brave and shameless. Klingvall explores the contrast between the very realistic and abstract colors. While focusing on traditional techniques, such as painting and illustration, Thea combines these in new ways to create a modern look.
